I'd like to welcome and thank everyone who was interested in this competition and who signed up! We are so excited for this competition and hope that all of you are ready to be a healthier YOU! We were just going to do this competition within just our immediate family, but thought that everyone is always up for a challenge and losing weight right?? LOL- so we let the word out and together decided that it should be in teams of 2 rather than done individually. We thought that it'd be better to have another person to help motivate each other than to have to work on a personal goal by yourself.
We just came up with guidelines and challenges to abide by, but of course you are always welcome to do your own thing. We just thought it would be more fun to come up with challenges to keep it exciting and to continue to challenge everyone throughout the 12 weeks!
We hope that everyone tries to keep to the challenges and continues to stay focused. Don't worry everyone will probably have a bad day or a day when they cheat, but get back on track and don't cheat again! haha But honestly though, don't give up because we're all in this together and we want everyone to be happy with your result! The most important part is to have fun living a healthier life whether it's the diet challenge, exercise or life after your skinny!! :D
You are more than welcome to share thoughts, tips or recipes with everyone and we will continue to post things that hopefully will help you guys out with the diet and challenges so please stay tuned!

Calorie Count: based off of your goal weight (Mel and I will get that out to each of you when you come weigh-in)
Continue with 1 fruit/day and serving of whole grain food (include bread)- No Soda
1 Free Day a Week
1hr Work-out/day or 6hrs for the week (ONLY)
Take your multi-vitamins everyday
LAST CHALLENGE
Saturday June 11th- Saturday July 2 (Week 10-12)
Weigh in: Saturday May 11th by MIDNIGHT
No Challenge!!

• Mels house is the weigh- in station. You CANNOT weigh yourself at home and get that info to us. To be fair, we all have to use the same scale.
• We will keep a continued blog throughout this competition for everyone. Sign on to chat with each other and get recipes or foods you can and cannot eat. (blcomp.blogspot.com & use your gmail to sign in with. If you don’t have one, create one! ☺)
• In order to be eligible for the prizes at the end, you and your partner have to show up to all weigh-ins. You miss one weigh-in, you automatically get disqualified for the money but still can participate in the competition. NO REFUNDS! ☺
• Please stay with each of the challenges so that this competition can stay as fair for everyone as possible. Remember “Honesty is the Best Policy” :D
There is absolutely No fruit, Starch and Milk. Veggies to stay away from for the first 3 weeks are Beets, Carrots, Corn, Potatoes and Yams. Also remember that the Green veggies are probably the better choice...

ReplyDeleteHope everyone is doing well, keep up the good work and I'm really excited to weigh everyone in this coming week. We are going to switch up the challenge... I will be taking pictures of the teams as you come to weigh in and every team will need to come up with Team names.... so stay tuned for the different teams.... It will be easier to refer to team names rather than individual people....
ReplyDeleteThe First 2 weeks were the hardest..I must say!!! Giving up carbs & sugar was a DRASTIC change for me!!! LOL There were moments i had to indulge into my EVIL cravings...lol hahaha & i have a feeling i probably wasn't the only one!!! hahahahaha..
